Most
vision statements are long, boring, and can be very broad and generic
in nature. I'll try to keep this brief but still explain what the
overall vision of the ministry is.
Our
number one vision and mandate is to raise up 1000 reformers
carrying the very heart and nature of God into not only society
but also the church to release spiritual
awakening into multitudes. 1000 is not a specific
limiting number but a representation of the idea that it is high
number of reformers to be determined by God. Just like when the
bible refers to God "owning the cattle on 1000 hills' it isn't
literally saying on ONLY 1,000 hills but that God's supply is sufficient.
Our entire ministry has transitioned over the years to bring us
to this point of function. Our vision is to see a spiritual
awakening sweep through cities and regions of our
state and affect our nation. We know this will come through spiritual
awakening in individuals first which will in turn
bring a reformation
of the culture of the church as we now know it. Once the Body of
Christ is functioning as God intended then the reformation
of our society and culture will begin. To facilitate this we have
five God given mandates that all of our decisions are based upon
and help shape how we function.
The first is what we have already described as
seeing the fullness of the kingdom of God come within the region,
state, nation, and other parts of the world. This has many dynamics
to it, but once it is embraced and completely understood the Body
of Christ will realize it holds all the answers it is needing. Putting
it most simple terms we exist, work towards, and are focused upon
seeing the Kingdom of God come and form upon the earth. The Kingdom
focus and dynamic is part of the overall ministry and has an effect
on every believer in the body of Christ.
The second mandate is to help establish God's governmental
authorities, namely the fivefold ministries of Ephesians 4, in the
Body of Christ. We as believers have to embrace and commit to seeing
God's government go from an ideal or a theological argument to an
operating and functioning reality for the church to move in it's
full biblical authority. When God's government is truly in place,
the body of Christ will learn to function as one. The benefit of
all five gifts working together, releases all the answers needed
for the church to be alive and vibrant as the body of Christ. This
is done by counsel, affirmation, and spiritual covering.
The third mandate is to see the next generation
raised up by spiritual fathering and impartation. This is not just
to a certain age group, but the generation that is upon the earth
right now. This means to see them understand their identity of who
God is made them to be, how they fit in the kingdom purposes of
God, and the destiny in whom they will become upon the earth. This
is done by instruction, and walking life out together.
Our fourth mandate is to see fresh revelatory truth
brought forth into the body of Christ to aid in creating spiritual
awakening within the hearts of men as well as further equip the
already functioning army of God. We know we are called to bring
forth a revelatory message because of God gracing us with continuing
revelation as we have pressed into His heart. This is not discarding
past truth, but combining firm foundations with present truth and
applying it to the present moment. The revelatory message is seen
throughout our worship, our approach and function, and our teaching.
Most of the curriculum for our original school of ministry was birthed
from consistent revelation from God in our midst. This continues
to be the basis in Kingdom Reformation Academy and our international
schools. Solid biblical foundations with the NOW aspect of what
God is saying in the earth.
Our fifth mandate is to be a resource center and
a place of facilitation so all of the other mandates listed above
can be accomplished. Being Kingdom minded we work to bring the body
of Christ together in unity. We also worked to bring leaders together
as well. Being a resource center means that we look at what the
Body of Christ needs, and create the opportunities and means to
help facilitate the meeting of those needs allowing true spiritual
growth to happen.
Like all visions, our vision encompasses many different things that
cannot be fully discussed it can only be experienced. Many times
visions can sound good but cannot be demonstrated. We encourage
you to witness what we have presented to you in writing, by seeing
us actually model and do what we say our vision is. Maybe your gift
is a missing piece of the puzzle and you haven't fit where you've
been before, prayerfully seek God for His direction and placement
of your call. You are important to the Body of Christ and without
a vision for your life, you will perish. We, as leaders at The Base,
have a vision for the Body of Christ as a whole to become the impact
on society, culture and the world that God ordained from the beginning.
But we can also help those that become involved with us to find
their individual vision and calling and then watch together to see
what your life can become.
